onlyの意味｜TOEFL・TOEIC・英検なら eigonary

only は、他の副詞とは異なり、主語にかかるときはその主語の前に置く。
onlyを名詞の後ろに置く場合は、「staff only（スタッフ限定）」のように〇〇限定と表現する場合。
onlyの置き場所で間違えやすい例として「東京にだけ行きました」を表現する場合、I went to only Tokyo. としがちだが、正しくは I only went to Tokyo.となり、onlyは動詞の前に置く。
